Sly and the Family Stone's "Woodstock Experience" takes the classic "Stand" album and a/b's it with the complete August 17, 1969 Woodstock performance by this innovative, eclectic, maddening artist. That Michael Jackson would administer his publishing and utilize his riff on one of his own songs, along with Janet Jackson using another riff for "Rhythm Nation" speaks volumes. Good thing he bought those rights!
